Strawberry Tartlets
Tartlets are mini tarts that can be stuffed in many ways. Today I propose you this simple, but tasty, tartlets with fresh seasonal strawberries. If you have already prepared the tartlets as I explained to you in the March recipe, preparing these pastries will be really simple and fast and, when you'll present them to your guests, you are going to get a great impression!

How to make Strawberry Tartlets
Prepare the tartlets as described in the recipe Tartlets.
Prepare the pastry cream as described in the recipe Pastry cream.
Place the tartlets on a sheet of baking paper and dust them with icing sugar, then transfer them to a tray.
Fill each tart with the pastry cream (you can use a pastry bag).
Garnish the tart with a strawberry.

Tips and Tricks
To make your tartlets even more inviting you can glaze the strawberry.
If you have are very large strawberries, you can cut in half or in wedges, or cut in other imaginative and decorative ways and put them on the tart.
Instead of strawberries you can use other types of fresh fruit as you like, such as kiwi, blueberries, raspberries, currants and so on.

Tartlets stuffed with fresh fruit must be kept in the refrigerator, protected from humidity and odors, and consumed within a day.
