Chocolate Truffles
These chocolates with a soft and melting core are composed of few ingredients and are very easy to prepare. Truffles are balls of chocolate ganache that can be flavored with citrus zest or liqueurs and coated in various ways, such as cocoa powder, hazelnut or pistachio grains, grated coconut and so on.

How to make Chocolate Truffles
Chop the chocolate and put it into a large bowl.
Put the cream into a saucepan and heat gently until the cream reaches simmering point. Remove from heat, then pour over the chocolate.
Stir the chocolate and cream together until you have a smooth mixture.
Cool and chill for at least 1 hour.
To shape the truffles, dip a teaspoon in hot water and scoop up balls of the mixture.
Coat your truffles immediately after shaping. Tip grated dark chocolate into a bowl and gently roll the truffles until evenly coated, then chill on greaseproof paper.

Tips and Tricks
If you prefer a less taste of chocolate you can use 100g of dark chocolate and 100g of milk chocolate.
Try to use cocoa powder, grating coconut, hazelnut or pistachio grains to coat our truffles, or dip them into melted chocolate (dark, milk or white).

Store in the fridge in an airtight container for 3 days.
